The inner lining of the envelope is so stunning and luxurious. The edge of the flap does have adhesive so that you can securely seal it closed for mailing. I do wish the cardstock was a tiny bit thicker so that it feels heavier in the hand. However, it's enough to write with pen and not show through the other side.
